Julia Allene Willis

LAYTON – Julia Allene Willis, 92, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 3, 1922 in Prairie Dell, Texas the daughter of William Kenneth and Artie Allene Bridges Kegley.

Julia married Richard Bruce Willis on July 31, 1942 in Chico, California.

Surviving are her sons, Richard Kenneth Willis, Fruit Heights; Ronald Bruce Willis, Heber City; Robert Wayne Willis, Layton; daughters, Sondra Kaye Schopflin, Santa Rosa, CA; Barbara Jean Chaney, Fair Oaks, CA; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, brother and son-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Fruit Heights Stake Center, 170 N. Mountain Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
