April 1, 1964 ~ March 2, 2014

Our beloved angel daughter, Julie Jensen, returned to her Heavenly Father, Sunday, March 2, 2014.

She was born April 1, 1964 in Ogden, Utah to Richard V. and LaWana Jensen. She resided in Roy, Utah and attended Weber County schools, graduating from Roy High School in 1985.

Julie was employed at the IRS working in the cafeteria for many years.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the nursery for over 20 years, touching the lives of many children.

Julie loved to travel with her parents and family. She read the scriptures daily, put puzzles together, did counted cross stitch, rode her bike and her most favorite thing, eating out. She adored all of her nieces and nephews.

Julie is survived by her parents; one brother, Kevin R. (Lynette) Jensen, Harrisville; three sisters, Laurie (Chris) Malan, Conroe, TX; Leisa (Darrin) Albright, Roy; Vickie (Steven) Cherrington, Orem; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Stuard C. and Wynona Jensen, J. Alvin and Alta Jensen, one nephew, Blake Albright.

For the past three years she has resided at Legacy Village of Layton. A special thanks to all the staff and especially the CNA’s that cared for her. Thanks also to Gentiva Hospice, especially Tania who cared for her so lovingly and kept her cute.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 14th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
