JULIETA VILLANUEVA BARTOLOME

1930 - 2013

Julieta "Julie" Bartolome, beloved mother and grandmother, went home to be with the LORD on December 28, 2013.

She was born on December 11, 1930 in Victorias, Negros Occidental, Philippines as the sixth child, among seven siblings, of Francisco Apostol Villanueva and Maria Miravalles Zalameda.

Julie was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God, Olivehurst, CA; and the Church of God, Clearfield, UT. She worked as a caregiver for seven years at a care home in Sacramento, CA, where she was appreciated and loved by her patients.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Richard Corbett, and son and daughter-in-law, Dante Bartolome and Concepcion Bartolome. She has been blessed with eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters Clara Villanueva and Amparo Peralta, and numerous nieces and nephews who are all living in the Philippines.

Julie delighted spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending church functions. She also enjoyed watching television game shows, such as Wheel of Fortune and Price Is Right and listening to Gospel music.
