June Adamson

Mrs. June Rae Trimble Adamson, 81 started the next part of her journey on January 9, 2014. She was born June 4, 1932 in Ogden Utah, a daughter of Ben G. and Ethel E. Newcomb Trimble. She attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ogden High in 1950.
She was very musical, and on special occasions she played piano and sang, along with her brother Kenny (on xylophone) in their father’s Orchestra band.
On July 18, 1952, in Ogden, June married Paul C. Adamson. Later they were able to adopt two beautiful girls, Deanna and Lisa. It was shortly after that she changed her career from a Government General and Naval Supply Depot clerical worker to home maker/craft designer/precision cleaner. She also maintained her talent with the ivory keys and frequently played the organ at events and weddings.
Surviving are her brother, Kenneth (Donna) Trimble; daughters, Deanna (Kennith) Hawks and Lisa Adamson; granddaughters, McKenna Hawks and Megan (Tucker) Case; grandson Skylore Adamson; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin Case and Ollie Case.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Ben G. and Ethel Trimble, her sister Ruth (Howard) Swenson, great granddaughter Bella Blanch, and her husband Paul C. Adamson.
Funeral servi ces will be held Saturday January 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist ’s Ogden Mortuary , 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will meet with friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
The family would like to thank Chancellor Gardens and staff for the outstanding care and love they gave June. They would also like to thank Bret and the other staff members at Hospice for Utah. A very special thanks to Dr. Gary Holland for his kindness and patience; you are a great man and an outstanding doctor.
