June Balaich

June Balaich, 85, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 8, 1936 in Mohrland, Utah to Dick Balaich and Charlotte Robinson.

On November 23, 1955, June married Vickie M. Poulsen in Kaysville, Utah. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, June served as a High Priest.

He enjoyed prospecting and treasure hunting most of his adult life.

June is survived by his wife, Vickie, Roy; children, John Balaich, Ogden; Scott (Carol) Balaich, Layton; Marcus Balaich, Roy; Lisa (Craig) Adams, Layton; Brenda Case, Norwalk, CT; Kelly Balaich, Roy; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Jayne Balaich.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, May 18^th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Providence Cemetery.
