June Norene Whiting Cisowski

PLEASANT VIEW a€" June Norene Whiting Cisowski, 82, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008.

She was born August 18, 1925 in Evanston, Wyoming to Frederick and Rachael Spackman Whiting. She was raised in Morgan and Ogden, Utah and lived her adult life in Ogden.

On April 1, 1945, June married Edward Daniel Cisowski in Elko, Nevada. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2006.

She worked as an inspector for Defense Depot Ogden for 30 years.

June was an avid singer with her sister, Gayle. She loved to yodel. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and especially her daily visits with "Mugsy".

June is survived by her children, Daniel (Melanie) Cisowski, North Ogden; Marilyn (Lee) Summerill, South Ogden; Carol (Corky) Warner, South Ogden; Janet (Rick) Mullinax, Marina Del Rey, CA; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Whiting, Wayne Whiting; and a sister, Gayle VanLeeuwen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, David Cisowski, Tom Cisowski, and a grandson, Todd Cisowski.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 -36th Street.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
