LAYTON a€" Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, June, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009. She lived a quietly heroic life, surviving polio as a child, numerous surgeries and physical limitations. She was orphaned as a child and was raised by the kind people of Shriner''s Hospital in Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Emil Willis Hamilton. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheri Hamilton Patterson and Holly Hamilton. She also had six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. June loved her home, her family and all animals. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

The family would like to express appreciation to all of her caregivers, especially Dr. Charles Berwald and the fine staff at Rocky Mountain Care Center, Clearfield.
