WASHINGTON TERRACE - June Dykster Hensley, 71, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008 at McKay Dee Hospital from complications of pancreatic cancer.

She was born March 10, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to John Henry and Emma Lea Dykster.

June married Robert L. Hensley on June 4, 1953 in Ogden, Utah, where they raised four wonderful children.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and served as a Primary worker and Visiting Teacher. She was currently a member of the Washington Terrace 8th Ward.

June worked at and retired from Desa Rose as a supervisor. She was also a loyal caregiver for Mrs. Louie B. Ford for several years.

She was a member of the High Rollers RV Club and loved traveling and camping. June also loved attending Weber State Wildcat activities, bargain shopping, collecting dolls, birds, gardening, plants, and decorating for holidays and family parties. She loved people and they loved her. She loved walking with her friend Jeanne Harris. June was very devoted to her husband Bob and their family. Her greatest joy was to be with her children and grandchildren. She also loved Friday lunch dates with her sisters. June had a great sense of humor, a smile on her face and loved getting the last laugh.

Surviving are her husband, Bob, of Washington Terrace; two sons and two daughters, Stephen L. (Syd) Hensley, Ogden; Robert L. (Paula) Hensley, Bear River, UT; Lynda Hensley, Ogden; Julie (Larry) Bench, Mapleton, UT; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her sisters, Betty Moser, South Ogden; Vivian Magagna, Portland, OR; Helen Boren, Roy; Darlene Allred, North Ogden; Kay Dykster, Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Johnny Dykster, her sisters, Sharon Benson and Jeanette Pultrum.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
