June Glover Hartey Lefevre

RIVERDALE – June Glover Hartey Lefevre, 73, passed away of surgery complications on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at McKay Hospital.  She was born on November 24, 1942, Yreka, California, a daughter of Charles A. and Arawana Glover.

She married William Hartey who passed away in 1985.  She later married Donald Lefevre in 1990, who passed away in 1994.

June loved her family, friends, and church.  Her companion of 18 years was her beloved poodle, Chipper.  Chipper brought her much love and joy.  She enjoyed art, crocheting, growing flowers, and plants.  She was a bird and animal enthusiast.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 4th Ward.  June was a real kind and gentle person.

Surviving are one son, Curtis (Debbie) Hartey, Syracuse; two daughters, Ann (Tony)  Bridenstine; and Barbie Upton, Clinton; 12 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her four brothers, Benjamin (Linda) Glover, Roy; Larry (Susie) Glover, Bountiful; Loren Glover, Roy; and Charles (Brenda) Glover, Pleasant View.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry Hartey, Jr.; two brothers, Eddie Green and Eugene Glover; one grandson, Mitchell Robinson and one great-grandson, Tony Hartey, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
