June Mary Mills

SYRACUSE – June Bill Mills 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was born May 4, 1931 to Albert and Mary Hamblin Bill in Syracuse, UT. When she was one year old, her father passed away and at that time Rulon Bill became her father. On June 23, 1949 June married Loyd Mills in Clearfield, UT. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she faithfully fulfilled may callings. She volunteered for 33 years at the McKay Dee and Davis Hospital. June enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Loyd and five children: Sherrie (Ray) Rhoades, Syracuse; Larry (Nancy), Syracuse; Roger (Natalie), Hooper; Eugene (Kathey), Clinton; and Mary (Mark) Carver, Syracuse. Also surviving is her brother Ed (Charleen) Bill, Beaver Dam, AZ and 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and 14 step great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandson and one nephew, Gary Bill. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Syracuse Lakeside Stake Center, 4500 W. 1600 S., Syracuse. Friends may visit with family Monday from 6 to 8 at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Stake Center. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
