CLINTON- June Davis Pendleton, 90, passed away on August 14, 2014, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 22, 1924, to Eber and Marie Lambert Davis in Ogden.

June was raised and schooled in Ogden and lived for a time in Vernal as a child, but spent most of her life in the Ogden area.

June married Glenn DeVoe prior to 1947; they later divorced. June found love again and married Lester Pendleton in the spring of 1974. He died February 1, 1986.

She was an excellent homemaker. June was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many different callings.

June would always say, “I was born in June, my name is June, and I’m June all year long.” She enjoyed taking pictures and scrapbooking all her memories. June was an avid bowler and loved to go fishing and hunting.

June is survived by her son, Don A. (Karen) DeVoe, Clinton; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Germaine VanLeuwen, Ogden.

June was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn DeVoe and Lester Pendleton; son, Dean DeVoe, who passed away February 17, 2006; parents, Eber and Marie Lambert Davis; brothers and sisters, Lois, Carol, Jack, Bud, Hazel, and Tim.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August, 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
