June Ball Peterson

June Ball Peterson, 89, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007.

She was born June 15, 1917 in Coalville, Utah to Thomas Hershel and Elsie Winters Ball. She was raised and educated in Coalville but spent most of her life in the Ogden area.

On January 8, 1937, June married Floyd W. Moore in Coalville. He passed away in September of 1970. She married Vern Garr on September 1, 1976 in Ogden. He died in January of 1990. She married Doyle M. Peterson on December 5, 1991 in Ogden and he preceded her in death in August of 2003.

June was a faithful and dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings throughout her lifetime.

She enjoyed working with ceramics and handiwork. She loved spending time with her family.

June is survived by her children, Glen (Jayne) Moore, Syracuse; Fred (Dianne) Moore, Clinton; Chad (Deloris) Moore, Ogden; Gail (Roger) Winterbottom, Sandy; two step-daughters, Merilyn (Gary) Knavel, Ranae (John) Painter, a step-son, Marlow (Loretta) Peterson; 21 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Neal (Faye) Ball and two sisters, Faye Rees and Donna Olsen. She was preceded in death by three husbands, a sister, Mildred Saxton and a step-son, Ronald Peterson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
