JUNE EWERT RUSS

June Ewert Russ - 53, peacefully entered into eternal happiness on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her home in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, surrounded by loving family.

June was born in Murray, Utah on October 13, 1959, a daughter of Dieter G. H. and Elaine S. Ewert, (Riverdale, Utah). She graduated from Grace M. Davis high school in Modesto, California in 1976 and attended Brigham Young University where she majored in Dance Education. June married James Perry Richardson on September 19, 1980 in Oakland, CA. They were later divorced. She worked for the Family and Children''s Services, Niagara while living in St. Catharines, Canada. She married Young Mun (Gordon) Russ, on October 13, 2012. June was an accomplished actress, having been involved in over 50 productions while associated with Garden City Productions, Port Mansion Theater and several other local theater groups.

She leaves her memories to be cherished by her devoted husband, Gordon. June is also survived by her loving children, Jesse A. Richardson, Neil Richardson, Paul J. and wife, Talia Richardson, Stephen L. Richardson, Sarah Russ, Laura Russ, and Gordon Russ Jr; as well as her parents and loving siblings, Craig K. and Cyndy Ewert of Modesto California, Lorraine E. and Gary L. Mead of Layton, Utah and Mark S. and Caryn Ewert of Riverdale, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Riverdale 8th Ward, 4000 South Parker Drive, Riverdale, UT. Friends may visit family Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Per her wishes, June has returned home to Utah.
