LAYTON a€" June Eleanore Nelson Singleton reunited with her one and only true love, Ralph A. Singleton, on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the age of 87. Her passing was due to multiple complications and ailments that she suffered in her last month. She was surrounded by her loved ones during this time.

She has always proven to be the strongest, toughest, loving mother totally devoted to her family. Each breath she took was with love, hope, and concern for her family. Her optimistic outlook on life gave her strength to endure her many hardships of ill health and loss. To her last day, she hoped and strived for survival. She is truly an example of what a great wife, mother and grandmother should be.

After having five children, enduring the loss of two, caring for her loving and devoted husband, she helped raise her grandson and continued to love and care for her family to the best of her ability.

June was born in Ely, Nevada on June 22, 1924. She married her love, Ralph on November 13, 1943.

June was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Pearson; husband Ralph A. Singleton; son Ricky Singleton, and daughter Carla Singleton.

She is survived by her daughter Sherry (David) Ptacek; granddaughter Wendy; great-grandchildren: Peter and Nicole; son Kent Singleton; grandson Brent Singleton; daughter Deb (Lewis) Jones; and grandson Jason.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
