WEST HAVEN a€" June Virginia Wallin, 82, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010.

She was born July 5, 1928 in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada to Henry Harrison Sutton and Virginia Moser Hatton.

June''s family moved to California when she was seven years old. She was raised and educated in the Sacramento area.

She was married to Jack Walton Fletcher and they later divorced. She married Robert L. Wallin and they also divorced.

After 30 years in California, she moved to Utah and served in many volunteer roles. June thoroughly enjoyed her work with the PTA, Newcomers Club, Pink Ladies and her AFA membership. She later was employed as an Information Clerk with the U.S. Forest Service. Her favorite saying was "I like to tell people where to go."

She loved to garden and surrounded herself in beauty. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. She was very loving, sociable and kind to everyone she met.

June was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Marcie Fletcher Taylor, Kuna, ID; Kristie (Curtis) Nielsen, West Haven; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son William Fletcher, two brothers Harry Sutton, Byron Sutton and a sister Lorraine Shands.

The family expresses sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff at the Crestwood Care Center for their loving care and the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital especially her nurses, Brent and Natalie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
