JUSTIN ALLEN KINNAIRD

1975-2014

Justin Allen Kinnaird, beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away January 27, 2014. Justin was born in Provo, Utah on October 7, 1975.

As a young child Justin competed competitively in jump rope. He was the lead in many plays throughout middle and high school and he was Student Body President of Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs, CO. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day-Saints in Marseille, France. After his mission, he attended Ricks College and performed in the musical group Showtime, where he met many lifelong friends. He continued to entertain and perform throughout his life.

He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Communications. Justin traveled the world, loved good food and art. Justin was the founder of Utah’s “first and coolest” underground restaurant, By Invitation Only . Justin was a collector of people and a connector of minds and interests. He loved to showcase the amazing talents Salt Lake City has to offer. Justin was a best friend to many and was loved because of his kindness, generosity and gentle soul.

He is survived by a family he loved dearly, his mother Cheryl, father Kenton, brother Jason (Peggy), sister Jennifer (Kevin) Townsend  brother Jonathan (Cassie), eight adoring nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the LDS church located at 4275 S. Bountiful Blvd. Bountiful, Utah.   Friends may visit the family on Friday evening from 5-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah and on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the services at the church.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
