Justin Joseph Marinelli

June 17, 1974 — February 20, 2024

Justin Joseph Marinelli passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 49 in Ogden, Utah.  He was born on June 17, 1974, in New Rochelle, New York.

 

He is predeceased by his son, Alexander, which he had with his former wife, Crystal Goudy.  He is survived by his mother Virginia Clavin, and his father and stepmother Joseph and Michele Marinelli, his siblings Christina, Lorenzo, Renee, Anthony and Jason; his four nieces and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Justin was a graduate of Piscataway High School, class of 1992. He went on to graduate from Chubb Technical Institute pursuing a career doing technical support with Microsoft Certification. Subsequently, Justin joined the family business, Starfire Consulting LLC, where he worked as a Data Analyst tabulating market research reports, with his father and several siblings, for more than 10 years.

 

Later in life, Justin’s love of music and art led him to found Mind Warp Studios where he provided audio, video and graphic design services along with music lessons in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area.

 

Justin was a lifelong musician, singer and artist. He was an accomplished self-taught guitarist and keyboard player.  He enjoyed writing and recording original music.  He was fond of Japanese culture and participating in Renaissance Period events. He was an avid reader, writer and cat lover.

 

A Celebration of Life in Justin’s honor will be held at a later date.

 

Justin Joseph Marinelli will be deeply missed but will be remembered for his kind and joyful nature as well as his generosity.
