Justin Tremelling

August 10, 1986 — October 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Tremelling, 38, who tragically lost his life in an accident on October 24th in the Wasatch Mountains while enjoying a hunting trip with his wife and son. This loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Justin was born on August 10, 1986 to David and Janet Tremelling in Ogden, Utah. He married his wife on March 21, 2015 and they were building a wonderful life together. Justin's absence has left an immense void in our lives. He was an incredible man whose love filled our days with joy and laughter, and his kindness touched everyone around him. Justin was Cassie’s rock and her greatest joy.

His hunting adventures, especially those spent with his son, created some of his most cherished memories. The time he had with his daughters were cherished and meant the world to him. He loved sharing his passion for the outdoors, teaching Korbin the beauty of nature and the thrill of the hunt. His love for his children was boundless; he was not only a dedicated father but also a role model, instilling values of kindness, strength, and perseverance.

Justin’s love for his wife was unmeasurable. He loved her with every fiber of his being and would do anything to support her and his family. He loved their adventures and time they spent with one another. He lived his life making her and his family his top priority, creating as many memories as possible.

Justin shared a special bond with his mom, one filled with laughter, love, and steady support. He valued their time together, enjoying both the heartfelt talks and the quiet moments they shared memories that will always be treasured.

Justin was employed by Hill Air Force Base as an F-22 composite fabricator, where his dedication and expertise were deeply valued.

Anyone who knew Justin knew that he was a kind, loving, caring, passionate, and amazing person who would do anything to help anyone. He had an immense passion for fishing, hunting, and classic cars; Ford Mustangs had a special place in his heart. He could fix anything and was always working on multiple projects including those for others. He would drop anything to go help his family, friends, and neighbors out of any jam they were in. He was always a source of support. Justin’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

His spirit will live on in the stories we share and the love we built. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Cassie Tremelling; his son, Korbin; and four daughters, Sidney, Natalie, Whittney, and Chelsea. He is also survived by his mother, Janet Tremelling; three siblings: Brandi (Davie) Valdez, Sharida (Jeff) Tucker, Dani Fredericks, and his Grandma Hope. He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Tremelling, grandparents Lester and Juanita Tremelling.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in memory of Justin be made to America First Credit Union under “Justin Tremelling Memorial Fund” to help support his wife and children.
