JUSTIN KEITH WORKMAN
1986-2022
Justin Keith Workman passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.
He entered this world four days late on January 3, 1986. His parents Gary and Holly were very proud of their baby boy.
He was best friends with his big sister Annie. One Sunday afternoon when he was 10 years old, after a weekend golf lesson, she tried taking his ear off with a golf club. We always figured that this was why he only listened to half of what we said.
He graduated from Olympus High School. He was a member of both the swim and football teams where he learned many life lessons. One of the biggest lessons was from coach Mike Miller, who quoted Vince Lombardi, “If you’re not fifteen minutes early you’re late.”
Justin married Mallory McReynolds (later divorced). In 2013, his most prized possession, Emaline Ray joined their world. Emaline and Justin loved to spend time together taking pictures, collecting stuffed animals, spending time at his Aunt Kiney’s cabin, listening to music, and watching crazy shows. She wants to follow in her daddy’s footsteps and view life through a camera lens taking pictures that would make him proud. He fiercely loved his little girl.
Justin dedicated his talents to his graphic design career working with his mom, grandmother, and his Aunt Kiney at her print shop for most of his adult years.
Justin’s heartfelt passion was photography. He was always grateful to the friends and colleagues who shared their gifts and talents with him along his journey. He was always searching for the next prized picturesque moment.
We believe Justin is now perfecting his talents in heaven. Keep smiling when you think of him because you never know when he’ll be there trying to get the coveted shot.
Justin is survived by his parents Gary Workman, Holly Erickson, bonus parents Melinda Workman and James Erickson. Grandparents Keith and Renee Workman. His daughter Emaline Ray Workman. Siblings Annie (Steve) Oaks, Jake Erickson, Abby Erickson, Hunter Workman, and Justin (Kristie) Green, his brothers from another mother. He was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his grandparents Mark and Arline Wright along with his Aunt Betty.
Justin loved all his family dearly and would want each one to know he’ll be watching over them.
