KALLI ANNE BROWN
Layton, Utah a" Age 26. Today marks the culmination of a long journey for our dear Kalli, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend. After a 17 year battle with diabetes, our beautiful angel has finally received her wings.
Kalli was born November 9, 1983 in Boise, Idaho. She moved to Utah in 1987 and graduated from Northridge High School in 2002. Kalli had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. Her heart was pure gold, and she lived her life making everyone around her happy. She had an incredible sense of humor and could crack a joke on cue. Kalli could see the good in anyone, and brought out the best in everyone.
Kalli had an amazing flair for fashion, and even when she felt her worst you never knew, because she always looked her best. Her collection of high heels was countless, and you rarely saw her in anything but. She had a passion for poetry, and wrote many poems throughout the years. Kalli also enjoyed baking, boating and coloring with her niece.
Surviving are her parents, Don and Kris Olsen of Layton and Pat and Paula Brown of Woods Cross, sister, Jer Brown, brothers, Tyler Brown and Taylor Olsen and niece, Aubrey Jo Poulson. She is also survived by grandparents Don and Carmen Olsen, Inez (Nezzie) Adamson, Bert and Kaye Brown and Bud and Margene Siegfried along with many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kalli was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Dale Adamson, Great-Grandmother, Ellen Smith and Uncle, John Wettstein.
The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the many hospitals who cared for Kalli throughout the years. A special thanks goes out to the wonderful staff at McKay-Dee Hospital who made Kalli and her family so comfortable in her final days.
Kalli touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with her, and will be deeply missed by all. Her parting promise to her family was "Don''t worry about me, I will be free from this broken body to be able to watch over my family from heaven."
Kalli''s request to her guests is to wear something pink to brighten the room.
