Karan Kennedy

Karan, our little angel was called home to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 31, 2014.  She was born on November 16, 1962, a very special daughter to Shirley John and Beverly Rawson Kennedy.  She grew up in Roy with her sister and brothers, and Karan remained there her whole life.

Karan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the Cedar Crest Ward.

She was truly a model of love and happiness and taught her family by example.  She loved her favorite snacks of Oreos and Diet Coke, and would gladly take anyone else’s off their hands whether they intended to finish or not.  She was so much fun and loved to tease her friends and family.

Karan is survived by her loving parents; brothers, Eldin (Rolene) Kennedy of Randolph, Keith (Louise) Kennedy of Lonetree, Wyoming, Curtis (Deann) Kennedy of Farr West; sister, Colleen (Curt) Christensen; and 16 nephews and niece

She was preceded in death by her Grandma Bishop and her Grandma Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.  Friends may visit family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.

The family would like to thank those who helped give service to Karan throughout her life.
