KAREL ANN KILFOYLE LINFORD
1948-2015
Karel Ann Kilfoyle Linford was born November 17th 1948 in Odgen, Utah to Stearns and Donna Kilfoyle. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. At eighteen months old her family moved to Clarkston, Washington where she grew up until she graduated from Clarkston High School in 1967. While living in Clarkston, she and her mother each earned their young women medallions together. She continued to be a diligent and dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS). She then moved to Rexburg, Idaho in 1968 to attend Ricks College. An employment opportunity arose for a membership clerk for the LDS church offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. While living in Salt Lake City, Karel met and fell in love with her eternal soul mate Richard Linford.
Karel and Richard were sealed on June 2nd 1972 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Bountiful, Utah where they started their precious family together. In 1977 they moved to Centerville, Utah where they continued to make their home. Karel has always been dearly loved by many as a dedicated friend, neighbor, and visiting teacher. Her ultimate pride and joy in life was her family; especially her grandchildren- whom she was eternally grateful.
After being diagnosed with kidney cancer, mom endured to the end with loving support of her friends and family. Mom passed on October 26th peacefully after a long and incredible journey and is now reunited with her Heavenly Father and loving family. Her earthly presence will be dearly missed. Let God be with you until we meet again.
