Karen Huemiller

Karen Lou Huemiller, otherwise lovingly know as Mom, Honey and Grandma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 2nd 2016. She was 78 years old, she passed away due to complications following a surgical procedure, surrounded by family at the Davis Hospital in Layton, Utah.

Karen was born August 23, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Merril & Geraldine Marsh.  She was the youngest of three and is survived by her brother Robert Marsh.
She married her high school sweetheart of four years, Ronald Huemiller Sr. on June 30, 1957 in Utica, MI.

She was a dedicated and loving mother who had the honor of staying home to raise her children. Graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in teaching only after her youngest had started school.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, role model and friend. She loved God with all her heart, the first thing that comes to mind when we think of her is her faith in God. While she will be greatly missed by those who remain we can find great joy in knowing that she now rest with Him no longer in pain, dancing around heaven in her “purple hat”.

Survived by:

Her adoring husband Ronald Harold Huemiller, Sr.
Ron (her cowboy) & Judy Huemiller, their 4 children, and 8  grandchildren, Don (her want to be only son) & Amie Huemiller, their 5 children, and 1 grandchild, Tony (her clown) & Kelli Huemiller, their 5 children, and 3 grandchildren, Larry (her forgotten one) & Lisa Huemiller, their 2 children, and 3 grandchildren, Heather (the peace maker) & Nathan Gentry, their 3 children, and 13 grandchildren, Pete (her black sheep) & Delores Huemiller, their 6 children, Heidi (her “only” child) & Howard Thornhill, their 2 children, and 2 grandchildren, Matt (the wild one) & Sheri Huemiller, and their 7 children, Kristi (her favorite youngest daughter) & her husband Joey Mabry, and their 1 child.
