Our Precious, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister and Aunt, Karen Farr Keller, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 16, 2011.

She was born July 5, 1938 in Logan, Utah to Aaron Freemen and Edith Johnson Farr. Karen grew up in Logan, Utah and Preston, Idaho moving to Ogden in 1952. She was a happy friendly child, who made friends easily. She attended school in both Utah and Idaho graduating from Ben Lomond High School in 1956. She also attended Weber State College. She married Ronald L. Keller, they later divorced. She retired from HAFB having held many important positions. She loved her work and took great pride in working hard and a job well done. Upon retiring in 1987, she began working for her son at KK Mechanical as the office manager continuing to work there until her passing.

Karen enjoyed gardening, reading and movies, but mostly she loved talking with friends and family. Many good times were spent sitting around the table talking. She had a great sense of humor. We will miss her advice and counsel.

Karen was a member of the Clinton 19th Ward where she served as librarian. She loved her ward family, and they loved her. Karen had a strong testimony of the Gospel and loved serving in the Temple.

She is survived by her three sons, R. Kim (Cindy) Keller, Brian L. (Liz) Keller, R. Bart (Bonnie) Keller, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers, Aaron V. (Valanne) Farr, Hal J. (Paula) Farr, two sisters, Terry Roane (Robert) Stephenson and Diane Carruth.
