Karen M. Kershaw WASHINGTON TERRACE – Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Karen May Kershaw, 57, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at her home following complications from a lingering illness. She was born April 14, 1954 in Ogden, a daughter of George F. and Mary T. Creechley Kershaw. She attended Weber County Schools, graduating from Bonneville High School in 1972. Karen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various callings. She pursued a career in broadcasting beginning her career at KVOG in Ogden. Surviving are her mother, Mary Kershaw, Washington Terrace; two brothers, William H. (Marsha) Kershaw, Washington Terrace; Mark R. (Christy) Kershaw, Salt Lake City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Karen in death were her grandparents, her father, older brother, Dennis Jay Kershaw, and many aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Cremation and services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
