OGDEN a€" Karen Stephens King passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010.

She was born September 19, 1934 in Ogden, Utah to John Maurice and Marie Tueller Stephens.

Karen married Lyle E. King on June 10, 1955 in the Logan LDS Temple and they resided in Ogden. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2005.

She graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber College.

Karen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many callings in the Primary and Relief Society during her life.

She enjoyed holidays and being with family, especially spending time with them at her summer home at Bear Lake.

Karen is survived by her three daughters, Becky (Jay) Calder, South Weber; Kathy (Scott) Larsson, Sandy; Shelley Fessler, North Ogden; eight grandchildren, Jalynn, Jessica, Michael, Heather, Crystal, Luke, Sarah, and Cassie; and one great-grandson, Cayson.

Also surviving are two brothers, John (Mary Ellen) Stephens, Montana; and Doug (Terry) Stephens, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. at 1 p.m.

Friends and family may visit at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
