Karen Lee
KAYSVILLE a" Karen Lee, 52, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 after a lifetime of health issues.
She was born February 11, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Frank Arthur and Jeanne Thygerson Brown. Karen grew up in Holladay, Utah surrounded by family and friends.
Karen was sealed to Bradford T. Lee on December 3, 1980 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all eternity.
Even though Brad was the firefighter, she loved the fire department. She enjoyed planning and attending their parties where she was able to use her creative talents. Karen loved to do crafts. She was always making something for someone. Her sugar cookies were famous at any family party or occasion. Her nieces and nephews were the children she could never have. She spent many hours tending them. They all cherish the time spent with her. She always helped others no matter the cost to herself. She was an angel on earth.
Surviving are her husband of Kaysville; parents of Holladay, Utah; brother Doug (Jill) Brown of Kaysville; sisters, Vicki (Cliff) Kelly of Salt Lake City; Susan (Sharon) Esplin of Layton; Annette Turner of Las Vegas, NV; Kathryn (Kyle) Lowther of South Jordan; in-laws Mike and Cathy Lee, Marsha Shaffer, Steve Lee, Steve and Patti Rollins and her dog Sadie .
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Dr. McDonald, Dr. Buchi, Dr. Al-Rayess and Dr. Gary Lee for their compassion and concern. It was greatly appreciated.
