Karen L. Murray
PROVO – Karen Lou Murray, 67, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 in an apartment fire in Provo, Utah.
She was born March 11, 1944 in Ogden, Utah to Isabell Hancock and Marcus Murray.
Karen attended Ogden High School and Weber State College. She worked for J.C. Penney’s, Dillard’s, and Sam’s Club. She was a very caring person and helped many people and was very friendly and outgoing. She had lived in Ogden, Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah.
Karen married Richard Waters on March 18, 1966 and later divorced. She was later married to William Crawshaw and they later divorced.
Karen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Freedom Second Ward in Provo, Utah.
Karen is survived by her brother Mark Murray of Portland, OR; sister-in-law Gerry Murray of Ogden; and her nieces and nephews.
Preceding Karen in death were her parents, her sister Beverly Milligan, brothers Keith (Lois) Murray; Lamoine Murray, Freeman (Donna) Murray; and a nephew, Glen Milligan Jr.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 21 at 2 p.m. the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., with Bishop Speckhand officiating.
Karen was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
