SOUTH OGDEN a€" Karen Jeanette Evans Stack passed away peacefully Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services.

Mom was born in Brigham City, Utah on November 4, 1940 to Robert and June Hunsaker Evans. Mom and Dad, Frank Edward Stack, married on November 8, 1958 in Elko, NV.

Mom is survived by her family who loves her dearly, including: her mother, June Hunsaker Evans McDonough,: sons, Sheldon Stack, Richard Keller, Jeff (Becky) Stack, Curtis Stack; daughter, Kelly Stack; grandchildren, Brody, Stefanie, Christopher, Chase, Brian, Shelby; sister, June (Richard) Franklin; brothers, Robert (Midge) Evans, and Frank (Tammy) McDonough.

Mom was preceded in death by her father and our dad in 1981.

Mom enjoyed dancing, cooking and spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care, especially her roommate, Nancy Hess, Access Hospice, and express their love and appreciation to all the special people that helped care for her during the last several years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family and friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday, September 3, 2009, from 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment will be at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
