Kari Ann White
OGDEN – Kari Ann Clough White, 45, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 24, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital, after a brief illness.
Kari was born August 2, 1962, in Durango, Colorado. She was raised in the Ogden area, attending elementary school in Huntsville, and junior high and high school in Ogden.
In her early adult life Kari was involved in a tragic automobile accident that left her partially paralyzed. Following rehabilitation she was employed at Enable Industries, where she received many awards and recognition for work well done. She was very proud of these.
On October 26, 1984, Kari married Ken Christensen. They were later divorced. She then married Tony White on August 15, 1991. They later separated.
Kari enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting stuffed animals, and horses.
Kari is survived by her parents, Laurence (Hope) Clough and Beverly (Arthur) Johnson, seven brothers, five sisters, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very special friend, Doug Gainey.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two aunts, an uncle and two brothers.
Kari is now released from her worldly struggles and is free to walk and dance without the restraints of her wheelchair.
The family wishes to thank all the care givers who have assisted her and the many doctors and nurses who provided medical care.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family and friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
