Karla Joy Westover Alexander, 74, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 22, 1936 in Pocatello, Idaho to Ferris and Mary Whittle Westover. She was raised and educated in Ogden graduating from Weber High School.

On May 16, 1955, Karla married Gene Douglas Alexander in Ogden, Utah.

After Gene''s military service ended the family settled in Washington Terrace.

Karla was a member of the LDS Church where she had served as Relief Society Activities Director, in Washington Terrace.

She enjoyed crocheting dolls and blankets, ceramics and bowling.

Karla is survived by her husband; their children, Darrel Alexander, AK; Dennis Alexander, NV; Kevin (Joyce) Alexander, Clearfield; Debra (Gordon) Doxey, Clearfield; Judy Carroll, AZ; Bonnie (Rodney) Priest, Washington Terrace; 18 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Westover and Garth Westover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Julie, two sisters and a brother.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 1st at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
