LAYTON a" Kathaleen Mae Hunsaker passed away October 24, 2012. She was born March 8, 1939 in Pocatello, Idaho to Ruth and Filo Raymond. Kathaleen''s family moved to North Ogden when Kathaleen was six months old. She graduated from Weber High School. She also attended Stevens-Henager College.
In 1982 she married Neal Hunsaker. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. He loved her deeply and she was his faithful companion for 30 years: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Kathaleen is survived by her husband Neal and her daughters: Christie Pitts, Holly (Tom) Stokes, and Marcia (Joey) Wolf, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her sister Patty Taylor.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to all those at Rocky Mountain Care nursing home who cared for Kathaleen for the past three years and to all the hospice workers who also cared for her in her final days.
