Katharina “Kitty” Gradwohl O’Brien LAYTON – Katharina “Kitty” Gradwohl O’Brien, 73, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009. She was born April 21, 1936 in Munchen, Germany the daughter of Peter and Karolina Falk Gradwohl. Kitty married Frederick Lee O’Brien on March 8, 1957 in Munchen, Germany. Kitty was a member of the Catholic Church, past President of F.O.E. and a member of the American Legion. She liked crocheting, knitting, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. Surviving are her husband, sons, Michael Gradwohl, John O’Brien, daughter, Debbie (Jack) McMillion, mother, Karolina Gradwohl, sister, Johanna Perzlmeir, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her father and brother Pete Schuller. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
