Katherine “Kay” S. Doutre, 51, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009.
She was born January 19, 1958 in Oakland, California to Bobby Raymond Stirling, Sr. and Cherie Ruth Hansen.
On March 13, 1982 Kay married William Roger Doutre in Roy, Utah.
She worked as an accountant for Qwest, Parsons and Buffalo Bill’s Tire Company.
Kay was a very caring and loving mother. She loved to go see her children’s sporting events.
Kay is survived by her husband, William “Bill” R. Doutre; four sons, Joshua (Celeste) Doutre, Christopher Doutre, Austin Doutre, Braxton Doutre; a step-son, Derrick Doutre; three grandchildren, Colteon, Chaylyn, and Noah Doutre; her mother, and two sisters, Laura (Randal) Udy, and LuAnne (Doug) Ander.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Bobby R. Stirling, Jr.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the Private Investigators Association of Utah, especially Bart Thompson and Marki Davis, founder of Utah Missing Persons Project, who worked feverishly in the search and rescue of our beloved Kay.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
