Kathie Jill Ferguson, 63, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014.  She was born on May 25, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to Arthur Richard and LaVelle Forsberg Messenger.

She married Robert Ferguson.

Kathie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working on crossword puzzles, cooking, and baking.  Her greatest joy was being with her grandkids.

Kathie is survived by her husband, Robert, West Haven; sons, Marc Roberts, Roy; and Keith Ferguson, Ogden; daughter, Beth Hill, Roy; five grandchildren; brother, Richard Messenger, Bountiful; and sisters, Pat Booth,  VA; Candy Austad, MI; and Judy Winn, NV.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Melanie Wallace, and brother Gary Messenger.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the mortuary.
