Kathleen Bathke Gotchy

Kathleen Bathke Gotchy, 63, passed away on September 2, 2016 due to complications from her three year struggle with cancer.  Funeral services are being planned for Hickory, NC on October 9, 2016.  For information on the service please call Drum Funeral Home.  A memorial service will also be held in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; no date has been established.

Kathleen was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and graduated from North High School in 1971.  She married David Gotchy on June 2, 1971 and raised three sons, Todd, Scott and Justin. She lived in eight states and three countries where she absorbed and celebrated local cultures and languages.  Katy’s life was dedicated to her family as a homemaker establishing a loving home for her son’s and their friends. She was a Packer fan and a soccer mom spending countless hours cheering from the sidelines for her sons and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Gotchy, Hickory, NC; sons, Todd, Saegertown, PA; Scott, Simpsonville, SC; and Justin, Creedmoor, NC; and four grandchildren, Jade, Graci, Connor, and Haiden; and siblings, Maureen Griessmeyer, Sheboygan, WI; and Mary Lee Finger, Thiensville, WI.
