Kathleen "Kathy" G. Hill

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 11, 2013 at the age of 62.

She was born in John Day, Oregon on December 26, 1950 to Joseph and Mabel Gale. She later moved to Utah, where in 1968, she met the love of her life Donald C. Hill. They married on May 15, 1970 in Elko, NV.

Kathy lived her life on her own terms. Her greatest pleasure was seeing her family happy. She enjoyed watching western movies, I love Lucy, and listening to country music while sitting at the kitchen table or on the swing in the backyard with her beloved husband of 43 years.

She enjoyed holidays, camping and family barbecues. She loved to cook and try new recipes and seeing the joy it brought to others. She loved her sweaters and of course her slippers and socks.

Kathy worked at Chromalox for 12 years and later went to work for Kimberly Clark in the cafeteria.

After she retired from working most of her life, she enjoyed traveling, camping and being with her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Donald C. Hill, Ogden; three children, Bobbie (Joe) Jacquez, Ogden; Richard Hill, Ogden; and Jode Hill, Roy; and seven grandchildren that she lovingly referred to as her ''half humans''.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
