Kathleen Klemm
1955-2022
In Loving Memory
Clearfield, UT – Kathleen (Kathy) Klemm passed away peacefully in her home on February 13, 2022
She was a long-time resident of Bountiful, Utah but had spent the last few years in Clearfield.
She was born on January 19, 1955 to H. Ralph and Lorraine Klemm in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the eldest of five children.
Kathy graduated from Viewmont High School in 1972 and went on to obtain a degree from Brigham Young University in Early Childhood Education. She loved children and taught elementary school for several years. She would spend hours coloring, copying and laminating to make her classroom a fun and interesting place for her students.
She later became a merchandiser and worked in shows all across the western states. She promoted products for Apple, Nintendo, DoTerra and many, many more. In between shows, she could be found at Costo demonstrating anything from air purifiers to fireworks. Many times her payment for these shows included product samples which she shared generously with her family and friends. It was not uncommon for Kathy to drop off large bags full of leftover products to contribute to the next family get together. She also enjoyed the acquaintances she gained from her time as a merchandiser, many whom became her good friends.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life and had her own special way of loving and serving others.
Her favorite pastimes included movies, puzzles, camping and exploring the great outdoors. She was also a voracious reader and the library was her second home.
Kathy loved to travel and her adventures took her all over the United States. She especially loved her time in Alaska, Montana, Texas and Oregon. Her all-time favorite was Bend, Oregon with its open area and casual community.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by siblings Steven (Linda) Klemm, Ronald (Anne) Klemm, Rosemary (Eldon) Payne, Susan (Scott) Jurges, 13 nieces and nephews and 17 grand nieces and nephews.
