Kathlyn (Kathy) Hoffman Brady

May 16, 1928 ~ February 4, 2021

Kathy was born May 16, 1928 at her grandparents’ farm on Covered Bridge Road in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania to Edgar E. and Kathryn Crum Hoffman.  She passed away on February 4, 2021.

Upon graduation from Elizabethtown High School, she received her R.N. Degree from Harrisburg School of Nursing in1949.  She worked at Harrisburg Hospital from 1949 until 1963, when she moved with her family to Utah, where she worked at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Ogden.

Kathy’s marriage in 1949 to Jerome R. Brady lasted 65 years until his death in 2015.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul G. Hoffman and sister Jaquelin F. Smith.

Surviving are her two children, Rick (Loris) Brady, Lynn (Greg) Robinson, five grandchildren; Todd (Janice) Brady, Whitney (Winston) Stubbart, Ashley Robinson, Mallory Robinson, Daniel (Sara) Robinson, and eight great-grandchildren; Carsten and Rose Brady, Trevor and Kyron Stubbart, Raphael Ruiz, Dimitri, Sadie, and Emma Robinson.

Kathy is also survived by her siblings; Marilyn (Lawrence) Hammaker and Dick (Mary Jane) Hoffman and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Kathy requested donations be made to the Kaysville Bible Church missions fund.

Private graveside services will be held February 10, 2021.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
