Kathryn Jo "Kathy" Purdy Hall, 57, loving wife, sister, mom, and grandma, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011.

She was born June 20, 1953, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ralph M. Purdy and Verla Dattge Purdy.

She graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1971.

She was married to James Hall for 41 years.

She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to serving others. She taught her family with patience. Kathy loved holidays, family gatherings and baking. She spent many hours'' scrapbooking, crafting, and gardening. When her children were young, she devoted her time to all their many activities. Kathy was an active member of the LDS church and served faithfully in various callings, including many years in the Young Women Program. Despite her health limitations, she always put the needs of others before her own, especially Erik''s.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Raina (William) Hall, Melisa (Brian) Yoachum; grandchildren, Kerstie, Caitlyn and Robert Hall; Ashley, Tyson and Cameron Yoachum; her parents, Ralph M. and Verla J. Purdy; brother, Mike D. (Cheri) Purdy, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31st at 2 p.m. at the Harrisville 1st Ward Chapel, 435 W. Harrisville Rd.

The family will meet friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under Erik Hall and Family Fund.
