Katie Burke

September 2, 1986 — March 24, 2018

Katie Ann Payne Burke unexpectedly passed away on March 24, 2018.

Katie was born on September 2, 1986 to Kevin and Cheryl Payne.

She attended Holt Elementary, North Davis Junior High, and Canyon Heights High School. She also graduated from Taylor Andrews school of Cosmetology.

While accomplishing many things during her 31 years in this world, her greatest treasures and proudest moments came in the form of her two baby girls, Londyn Ann Burke (4) and Amelia “Mila” Kate Burke (2) who she had with Ex-Husband (Gregory Burke).

Katie was born to be a Mommy. She loves her girls dearly and endured many tough challenges in order to provide, protect, and insure their happiness.

Her legacy will live on through the seeds of love she planted in their hearts. She will continue to nourish those seeds, through the veil, as her girls grow. For a Mother’s Love is not just a mortal calling. It breaks the boundaries of death and continues to bless their children’s lives through eternity.

Katie continues to fulfill her Mommy calling.

Katie will continue to touch many lives with her understanding, empathetic, and zest-for-life personality. Her family and friends miss her dearly and look forward to the moments when her spirit is near.

We Love you Katie!

Katie is survived by her daughters, Londyn and Amelia Burke, her parents, Kevin and Cheryl Payne (Syracuse, UT); sisters, Jaime (Chad) Moore (Syracuse, UT); Jodi Johnson (Syracuse, UT); Jenica Sheldon (Syracuse, UT); and brother Kyle (Katee) Payne (West Haven, UT); as well as many nieces and nephews that love her.
