OGDEN a€" Katie Lynne Miller, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Weber County, Utah.

She was born April 18, 1989 in Montclair, California, to Thomas and Nancy Miller. At the age of 10, she moved to Roy, Utah with her parents and attended school there graduating from Roy High School in 2007.

Katie had a huge heart and was a kind, very giving person. She loved to help others and especially those in need. She was an animal lover and enjoyed playing softball being coached by her Dad for many years. She had a great affinity for music of all kinds.

Katie touched so many people''s lives and had such an infectious laugh and beautiful smile. Many will miss her sense of humor, quick wit, and great comebacks to all, especially Clay. She will be forever missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.

Katie is survived by her parents, Thomas (Stacy) Miller of Roy; Nancy Maitland of West Weber; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmothers and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her special grandpa, Reverend Robert Maitland and her favorite dog, Houston.

A celebration of Katie''s life will be held Wednesday, December 22nd at 5 p.m. at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church, 5560 S. 2300 W. in Roy, Utah.

A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katie''s name to St. Anne''s Center, 137 W. Binford, Ogden, Utah 84401 or your local animal shelter.
