OGDEN a€" Katie Spendlove died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 16, 2010 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis.

She was born May 10, 1978 in Ogden, a daughter of Jeffrey and Kathleen Spendlove. She graduated from Washington High School in 1996.

Katie enjoyed traveling, anything related to Halloween, attending concerts, reading, knitting hats for various charities, and spending time with her beloved dog, BamBam.

She is survived by her parents, Kathy Spendlove, Jeff (Linda) Spendlove, sisters, Amy (Brandon) Young, Sara (Paul) Byrd, grandmother, Lucille Spendlove, a very special niece and nephew, Hannah and Christopher Young, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Family will visit with friends at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Private family services will follow.
