LAYTON a€" Katon Rodger Sargent, 19, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007 where he has found peace with his Heavenly Father.

He was born April 11, 1988 in Ogden the son of Rodger C. and Bridget Roberta Box Sargent.

Katon graduated from Woods Cross High School in 2006.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed singing and he had a nice singing voice.

Katon liked being around people, his warm smile and laugh could brighten any room. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, running and keeping fit.

Surviving are his mother of Layton; grandparents Norman and Nola Sargent of Riverdale; Russell A. Box of Virginia; brother Gregg C. (Robyn) Sargent of Kaysville; two sisters Staci Sargent of California; Wendy Sargent of Layton; nephew and nieces Nicole, Emily, Jaden, Lydia, Brooke and Marie; special friends Brooke and Tanayah Thurgood.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Katon you will forever be with us, in our minds and in our hearts. The memories we have made with you will never be forgotten. We love you and will miss you every day.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
