Katsuyo "Kay" Copenhaver

Kay Copenhaver passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 with her family at her side, free of pain, after a long battle with illness.

She was born September 17, 1944 in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of Yoshitaro Honda and Tama (Otsuka) Honda.

She married Dennis Copenhaver in 1967 in Tokyo, Japan. She moved to Utah in 1984 after many moves while her husband was in the military.

Kay is survived by her husband and three sons, Roger (Tiffany), Mark (Debbie), Andy (Kimi) and six grandchildren, Chander, Capri, Cherokee, Kaleb, Caiden and Amanda; one sister, Tammie (Shuzi Nishiwaki) in Japan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Misae, and brother, Ikuo.

At her request there will be no service with cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary.

"Rest in peace, love you forever".
