Kay Sase Jr.

Kay Sase Jr. passed away on October 7, 2017 at his home in Ogden. He was born at the old Dee Hospital to Kay and Haruyo Sase on July 9, 1950.
He attended school in Ogden – elementary at Lorin Farr, Central Jr. High, and graduated from Ogden High in 1969.
Kay was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served several years after that in the Army Reserve.
After returning from his service in Vietnam, he was employed at DDO and HAFB; after early retirement he worked part-time at High Country Inn.
He enjoyed bowling and fishing and trips to Las Vegas. He was very proud of bowling a perfect 300 game in league play!
He was a quiet man but loving brother and uncle.
Survived by his brothers, Gene (Jan) Sase and Kent (Cindy) Sase; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Kay and mother, Haruyo.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
