Kay passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019, surrounded by her family at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 7, 1951 in Burley, Idaho to Gwen Arthur and Emerson Odell Tolman. Shortly after her birth her family settled in Dallas, Texas. It was there she met a young boy named Earl. They grew up in the same congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and as teenagers fell in love. They married and raised their five children in Dallas. After their children were grown, they moved to Kaysville Utah.
Kay lived her life unselfishly, always giving of herself and serving others. She loved everyone she met, and they loved her. For years she served as Young Women’s President, Girls Camp Director and as an Early Morning Seminary Teacher.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Franklin Snow III, her father Emerson Odell Tolman, and her brother Lawrence Tolman. She leaves behind a loving legacy with her children Allyson (Steve Schmid), Farrah (Bart Maldonado), Kristy (Scott Reese), Lauren and Sam (Teresa Acosta); her grandchildren Zachary Schmid, Emily Schmid, Gabriel Maldonado, Aubrey Schmid, Tia Reese, Owen Reese, Matthew Maldonado, Addison Schmid, Baron Reese, Alaina Snow, Henry Maldonado, Evie Reese and Miles Snow; her mother Gwen Arthur Tolman, and her siblings Mickey Upchurch, Jay Tolman and Lori Holland.
