Keenan Ray Hawkes, born November 15, 1954 in Ogden , Utah to Dean Allen Hawkes and Ella Nadine Eccles, passed away Sunday September 11, 2022 from natural causes due to many health issues.

Keenan was preceded in death by both his parents, two brothers Dean (Dee) and Dwayne, a half- brother Mike and our kind beautiful daughter Nicole Diane (Nikki)

Keenan Is survived by three wives, his first wife Alyson Weaver, the four children they had together, Tawsha, her husband and children, Jared, his wife Kristy and their children, Tiffany, her husband Brian and their three boys and Stephanie her husband and two children.

Survived by his second wife Georgina Drakos, his step-son David Drakos abs Keenan and Georgina’s other daughter, Nina BreeAnn Hawkes Russell and her husband Gunner Ray Russell,

His third wife Jan Bird, they were  married eight months.

Keenan was raised in Kaysville, Utah. He graduated Davis High School after he worked for George Drakos until he joined the U.S. Navy which he deployed to the Sea of Japan aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. He was honorably discharged.


Keenan struggled for many years with alcohol addictions.


His doctor said his brain had been hijacked. Keenan was a smart man who loved sports especially football and was obsessed  over WWII.

 

We hope that Keenan is at peace  with all who have passed before him. He had been cremated and will be buried at a later time.

 

Friends and family may gather in remembrance of Keenan on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.

at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah, where military honors will be accorded.
