Keith Martin Christianson

Keith Martin Christianson passed away on October 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 30, 1929, in Superior, WI., the son of Morris and Myrtle Martin Christianson. He graduated from Eua Claire High School in Wisconsin.

He and his father ran a milk route together while living on the family farm in Wisconsin, until he joined the Air Force in 1950 and served in the Korean War.

Keith met his wife, Myrna Anderson, in Ogden. They were married on April 15, 1955, and sealed in the Logan LDS Temple in 1971. They were married for 62 years.

He was a crane operator for Vic Baker for 15 years before he bought his own cranes and became the owner/operator of Chris’ Crane Service until he retired in 1992.

Keith was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings including Cub Scoutmaster and Assistant Ward Clerk. Keith was an honest, humble man was loved by everyone who knew him; he was a great man.

Keith is survived by his wife, Myrna, North Ogden; son, Kevin, Ogden; daughters, Annette, North Ogden and Valerie (Scott), West Haven; 9 grandchildren, Kasey, Robyn (Ron), Clint (Vonda), Rory (Danielle), Megan (Andy), Shanda (Lloyd), Tyler, Chelsey (Andy), and Celeste; and 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Christianson, AK and Clyde Christianson, FL; and sister, Carol Hanson, WI. He was preceded in death by his son, Kerry “Mitch” Christianson and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Bothwell Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
