Keith D. Rackham NORTH OGDEN – Keith Dahl Rackham, 79, passed away at his home with his family on Saturday, September 6, 2008, fighting till the end with cancer. Dad was born August 6, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to George Ernest and Verletta Dahl Rackham. He was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1947 – 1949. He was a hard worker all of his life, beginning as a teenager in an automotive garage and retiring from Defense Depot of Ogden. He could fix anything and he passed on his work ethic to his family. He married Marge Wilkinson and they had three children, Lana Hatley, Scott Rackham and Mitzi Babich. They later divorced. Keith married Arlene Behling Nelson and she brought to the marriage, Robert (Cathy) Nelson, Karin Nelson (Warren) Ware, and they had Dean (Laurie) Rackham. Arlene passed away in 2006. In August 2007, he married Suzanne Adami. We love and appreciate Suzanne for taking such good care of our dad. Dad was a “goer”. Keith and Arlene traveled extensively throughout the world and the U.S. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He was proud of the fact that he bowled a perfect “300” game and made his “hole in one”. Keith is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arlene, a brother, George and a sister, Beulah. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his children, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Cora (William) Beutler and a brother, Kenneth (Marsha) Rackham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.
